Porsche 911 – 996 Carrera 2
The Carrera C2 came to us with blistered paint, chipped and cracked body work, rusty arches – but a spanking set of FUCHs® Wheels! We tackled this car in stages over 2023, to help manage the budget expectations of the owner, whose the car is his daily driver!
We started by taking the roof back to bare metal (and body filler!) in which we revealed a previous repair that had gone wrong. After levelling and correcting the roof, we began stripping the rear scuttle panel and the boot/spoiler. We then primed and sanded back all areas until we were satisfied it was ready for the paint.
This 911 has the beautiful aero kit from the GT3. We called up Porsche to ensure we had the correct paint code for this 25 year old classic. And within 2 weeks the car was back to its former glory!
